[T3W5] Lesson 17: STARTATHON! + Final Project

3 main things covered: 1. Startathon Junior Briefing 2. Startathon Junior  3. Finishing of final product It was compulsory for us to attend Startathon junior, and i formed a group with friends from other CID groups. At first, I did not want to participate as i felt that it was just wasting my time. However, after spending time with my groupmates and coming up with an idea, i changed my attitude and was interested in completing our project. One of the hardest times for me was when we had to stay up all night to finish our project, after our previous idea was not feasible. I depended on my friend that night and slept only a little that night to finish the project. Overall it was a good experience to have, and i was able to use by HTML and CSS skills to come u with a webpage for the competition as well. Although we didn't win, it made me learn and have fun at the same time.

[T3W3] Lesson 16: Final Project Work

2 main things covered: 1. HTML CSS Learning 2. Coming together to put up our webpage in one computer I continued learning CSS, and experimented with different styles and functions to come up with a nice design. My groupmate was having troubles with his database and we came together as a group to figure out where was the problem. In the end, it was because of a minor spelling mistake. I learnt that we always ave to be careful when coding, as different things may not come up like what we expected it to be. At the end, we consolidated all different codes into one laptop that we could run on.

[T3W2] Lesson 15: Distribution of roles+ Update on project

2 main things covered: 1. Distribution of different roles for our Group Project 2. Update of timeline and datelines Today our mentors asked about our progress for our group project, and helped us to divide up the jobscope between us.  I was in charge of doing HTML and CSS, and my other groupmates were doing Database and Python. I continued my learning on Udacity.com and tested out a few examples on how boxes and width of different webpages work.  We also updated our own timeline on when to finish the project by, and we realised that we only have 3 weeks left to complete our final product!
