[T2W9] Lesson 14: Learning Journey at NTU

3 main things covered: 1. Real life entrepreneurs talked to ous about their creation 2. Difficulties they faced 3. Conclusion to entrepreneurship course Today we had the chnace to go to NTU to attend a talk by the students under Mr Roderick China, and what products they managed to bring out to the market. One of the groups invented a card game that allowed people to play with it, similar to Monopoly. They had to settle funds, and the making of the cards as well. They faced different communication barriers with people in China, and used Kickstarter as their crowd funding website as well. It was interesting to know how their product eventually got brought out the market, and the experiences they faced along the way.

[T2W8] Lesson 13: Self Learning

3 main things covered: 1. Learning of HTML and CSS 2. Finishing up Database learning 3. Last Lesson before Learning Journey We had time today to do our own learning and research for our final product, and I followed the link given Mr Zhou to learn about HTML and CSS on Udacity.com. The lessons were interesting and easy to understand! It was easy trying to follow the pace of the lesson as i could stop videos and rewind in case I couldn't understand. We also could ask our mentors question about Database that was not clarified in the previous lesson. We had our last entrepreneurship lesson before going to NTU next week.

[T2W7] Lesson 12: Database + Self Learning

3 main things covered: 1. Learning of Pycharm  2. Learning function of Database Today we had a long lesson on how to use Pycharm and the different functions of using this programme. We were introduced to oit by Mr Zhou, and it was a very long process trying to use Pycharm and different codes to run a simple website. Also, we learnt about the coding of a Database and CRUD, how to Create, Read, Update, Delete our database. There was a lot of content covered and steps to take note of, which was quite confusing for me. I learnt that a simple mistake/ detail that went wrong could not make the database work, and that i have to be careful with everything while coding.
